Connecting small trucking businesses with the information and financing they need to equitably transition to electric trucks.
Organizations advocating for environmental justice, climate control, clean transportation, and social justice are coming together to host a dynamic green mobility fair in West Oakland. The Oakland Electric Trucks Fair will exhibit the benefits of zero-emissions trucks for clean air, fuel cost savings, good jobs, and the environment. Additionally, iIndependent truckers and small fleet owners will have a platform to engage in a dialogue about their small business priorities with other industry professionals and connect with manufacturers, utilities, and decision-makers. Attendees will get the first look at new green tech innovations and cutting edge electric truck models, get educated on business financing resources and available grant programs accepting applications. Coming in Spring 2022.

The West Oakland Environmental Indicators Project is a grassroots environmental justice organization. Led by West Oakland residents, this community-based organization dedicates its efforts to achieving an equitable experience of healthy lifestyles, healthy jobs, and healthy neighborhoods for all West Oakland community members. Our mission is to build collective action and strengthen local leadership to ignite change and make a difference. We are dedicated to educating West Oakland residents about the variable socio-economic, political, and environmental factors that impact their lives while providing the necessary tools that support change at its root.
